Presley Gerber is opening up about her mental health.
The 26-year-old model son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber shared a detailed update on his mental health journey in a video posted to Instagram on Monday, December 1, after opening up about his mental health struggles in recent years.
“I guess honesty is the best policy…,” Presley began in the clip while sitting in a sauna. He revealed that he is currently taking several antidepressants, including buprenorphine, Xanax, and Valium, to treat his “panic attacks” amid his mental health struggles.
Presley continued, “…the benzos have been up and down depending on what’s going on in my life.” “Unfortunately, I’ve suffered a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that’s not an excuse, but it’s the reason I’m where I am today.”

Presley shared his concerns about his use of drugs and the different opinions he received from doctors regarding his treatment.
He said, “Doctors say a lot of different things, so it’s a little scary, but hopefully between my research and their research… and God, we can figure it out.” “…The things that scare me are the things you need to take… If you don’t take them, nothing good happens. And there’s a spectrum of how intense the withdrawal is from certain drugs.”
Presley said that, despite seeing several doctors, she felt she did not have “as much direction as I wanted” for her treatment.
“I want doctors to say, ‘Take this three times a day’… But all the psychiatrists I’ve had – I’ve had 15 – they say, ‘Here’s 20 medications and if you feel like it, take them’… and I say, ‘No, don’t give me that much leeway.’ I need some direction,” he said.

Presley shared that she has found other ways to help improve her mental health, such as working out and quitting drinking. He said he also hopes to find a community of people who are “good influences on me.”
He added, “As I grew up in Hollywood, there are a lot of people around me that I love very much, but right now I try not to be around them.”

Presley said he hopes his latest video will “reach people in a lot of ways.”
“A. So you feel like you’re not alone, because that’s how I feel most of the time and I think if I say all this, a lot of people will at least know that someone else is going through this too,” he said. “And the other thing is, hopefully I’ll find some people here and they’ll be willing to help or know someone who can help.”
