Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Reacts to Pregnancy Announcement

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs continued to struggle as the 2025 NFL season continued, falling to 6-6 after a 31-28 Week 13 loss to Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Now, Kelce and the Chiefs will try to stay in the playoff race heading into Week 14, and return home to face the Houston Texans on December 7 on “Sunday Night Football.”

The 36-year-old Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target during his 13th NFL season. In twelve games, the former Cincinnati Bearcats tight end has recorded 59 catches for 719 yards and five touchdowns, already surpassing his 2024 touchdown total. And he’s been able to do just that by proposing to musician Taylor Swift in the offseason in his first year as an engaged man.

While Kelce is preparing for his upcoming wedding to his superstar fiancée, another famous football personality is celebrating a different personal milestone. Over the weekend, former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee, now host of ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” and “College GameDay,” revealed that his wife of four years, Samantha, is pregnant with their second child, a baby due next summer.

“The path that led us here was filled with needles, hormones, countless appointments, and more emotions than two hearts could hold,” McAfee wrote on Instagram. “IVF pushed my body to its limits and lifted our spirits in ways we never expected. It was hope and heartbreak, faith and fear — all tangled together as we trusted the science and prayed for another miracle. And now, with humble hearts and immense gratitude, we are so happy to announce that we are expecting a baby in June 2026. 💙”

Kelce immediately took notice of McAfee’s announcement and left a message for the former bookmaker in the comments.

“🗣️Let’s go!!! Congratulations!!!” Kelce wrote.
