Chiefs News 11/26: Spagnuolo highlights Chris Jones effort in practice

It’s not easy to compress so much information for a quick-change game against any opponent, but it’s not so easy when it’s the Kansas City Chiefs, who played against the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, and Dallas played on Sunday.

“We know how talented and good this team is,” Prescott said. “We know how important it is to start fast, and that’s our focus. However, if that doesn’t happen, you have to be resilient, you have to show competitive stamina. At the end of the day, it’s a four-quarter game and the goodness of last week does that.”

All of Kansas City’s losses have come in one-possession games. While their 6-5 record may not be indicative of it, the Chiefs’ offense has been playing consistently well, and is led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, for whom Prescott has great respect.

“Everything in his game,” Prescott said of what he respects about Mahomes. “The way he plays it, at the end of the day obviously the talent comes out, but you see a guy who plays with pure passion, who will do anything to win. On the sideline, he’s always not running out of bounds, trying to make extra plays, never missing a play, having the ability to throw it back to his body. He does it all right. The thing I respect most is just his will to win, you see it. Let’s see, he’ll do anything and everything it takes.”
