The Hollywood Reporter reports on IDW’s upcoming landmark release teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #300, comic book legend Frank Miller got the chance to draw its cover. You can see a tease of it above, but here’s the full story.
It would have been great if this was the end of the story. Frank Miller’s Ninja Turtles Amazing in itself. But what’s even better is that turtles Creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird were heavily inspired by Miller. Daring Stir while making the turtles. Hence, those above similarities. This makes it a real full-circle moment.
“For this cover it was fun to jump into the playground with the ninjas and remind them that they were created by Peter and Kevin as my tribute to them.” Daring Run,” Miller said in a statement. “This is for the fans.”
The issue will be out on July 22 and will come in several different editions. Above is the Miller version, a brand new cover by Eastman and Laird (which you can see at the THR link above), as well as a cover by J. There are also several other covers by artists such as Scott Campbell and Juan Ferreira. Some will be left in a blind bag, so you won’t know which one you’ll get until you open it.
“From Blind Bag with an amazing artist lineup to Frank Miller’s first film tmnt Drawing and never before seen piece by Kevin and Peter, tmnt Number 300 will be the best experience of reading and collecting tmnt fans this year,” said Ryan Balkam, IDW director of sales.
