Carrie Underwood didn’t wait until the Week 12 edition of “Sunday Night Football” to grab everyone’s attention.
NBC announced in July that Underwood was returning to sing the “Sunday Night Football” theme song for the 2025 season. The eight-time Grammy Award winner has been with the network since 2013.
“For the 20th season whoseTrip Dixon said, “We wanted to set the tone for the night by reimagining the anthemic sound in a way that plays alongside Carey’s powerhouse vocals, while also creating a seamless blend of stylish shots and behind-the-scenes moments that reflect the national roadshow that is Sunday Night Football week after week.
Ahead of Sunday night’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, fans got a glimpse of Underwood’s Week 12 outfit.
Underwood shared some photos of herself wearing a stunning blue dress and captioned it: “Getting ready for @snfonnbc this weekend, here are some behind-the-scenes photos from shooting this season!”
Fans couldn’t help but praise this look of Underwood.
“My queen,” one fan commented.
Another fan wrote: “Beautiful.” “Wow these legs.”
Does NBC pay Carrie Underwood?
Before Week 1, a rumor spread claiming Underwood made $1 million per week during the NFL season.
However, Underwood told fans in 2024 that she does not get paid for her role on “Sunday Night Football.” He said it’s essentially pro bono work for him.
“No, it’s very freeing,” Underwood said. “I wish it would be great. It would be great.”
