The Washington County Attorney’s Office filed first-degree felony charges against Kingston, 21, on Tuesday.
The charges follow an investigation that began in February 2025, when a 20-year-old woman reported a sexual assault to authorities at St. George Regional Hospital.

The woman said Kingston sexually assaulted her in St. George on Feb. 23, 2025.
Detectives collected digital and forensic evidence and interviewed witnesses before turning the information over to the Washington County Attorney’s Office for review.
Kingston was taken into custody and is being held without bail in Washington County.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
Brigham Young University released the following statement:
“BYU learned of Parker Kingston’s arrest today. The university takes any allegations very seriously, and will cooperate with law enforcement. Due to federal and university privacy laws and practices for students, the university will not be able to provide additional comment.”
