Moore totaled 200 receptions for 2,162 yards and nine touchdowns during his first four seasons in the NFL. He signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills this spring and hauled in nine receptions for 112 yards through nine games before making room for Brandin Cooks. Moore will now look for a fresh start with his fourth NFL team.
Denver will need to make corresponding roster moves to make room for Moore on the practice squad. If it’s a similar move, one of Michael Bandy, AT Perry or Kiersey Rowan could be the odd man out. Of those three receivers, Rowan seems to be the most likely cut candidate.
The Broncos also have five wide receivers on the active roster: Courtland Sutton, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin and Lil’Jordan Humphrey. If all goes well, Moore could be a candidate to be promoted to the 53-man roster at the end of this season.
