Bold Josh Allen prediction has Bills fans fired up for Week 13 clash vs. Steelers

Josh Allen has had a solid season overall, but the defending MVP has also shown a bit of regression. Compared to last season, he is turning the ball over a bit more and needs to learn to throw the ball when games start to wind down. He is coming off a Week 12 loss to the Houston Texans who hit him 12 times, including being sacked 8 times.

Now, he will be without both of his tackles in Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown. Allen may face big trouble against Pittsburgh’s brutal defensive line led by TJ Watt.

However, this could also be a game where Allen turns into Superman in a must-win game for Buffalo, despite being down 7-4. The Bills aren’t the worst in the conference, but they’re certainly far from the best and they’re just trying to make the playoffs at this point. To do that, there’s a chance where Allen will have to do it all himself that we’ve seen before.

Before losing what felt like every game against the Texans, the Bills had played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a week earlier and Allen finished with six total touchdowns in the 44–32 victory. It was the second time in his career that he had 3 passing and 3 rushing touchdowns in a game. The first time came in Week 14 last season against the Rams.

Can he do it again against this Pittsburgh defense? One analyst is making a bold prediction that Allen…

Josh Allen predicts MVP-like performance vs. Steelers

Former NFL running back and current NFL analyst Maurice-Jones Drew is predicting that Allen will “bounce back with another six-touchdown outing”, as he did in Week 11 against Tampa.

“Allen and the Bills’ offense struggled mightily against the Texans last week. Allen did not record a touchdown for the first time since Week 2. He got back on track this week by posting a total of six scores – for the second time in three games! – to lead Buffalo to a win over Pittsburgh.”

At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising if this could be the only way for the Bills to leave Pittsburgh with a win to stay alive in the AFC playoff race. With Buffalo’s wide receiver problem, despite signing Brandin Cooks and Gabe Davis to the active roster, Allen may once again have to work his magic to keep things going for the Bills.

Don’t get me wrong, it would be exciting for Bills fans if Allen had this kind of game. However, this is not sustainable and should not be the only reason the Bills win games in December.
