NBC News, citing data from Adobe Analytics, reported that online spending reached a record $11.8 billion on Black Friday alone. The same firm estimates that shoppers spent $6.4 billion online on Thanksgiving Day, with $11.8 billion spent online over the weekend. According to Adobe via Reuters, US shoppers spent about $14.25 billion online on Cyber Monday. For those keeping track at home, online shopping from Black Friday to Cyber Monday has totaled approximately $44.2 billion.

we don’t have that The data about in-person shopping is fascinating, but the National Retail Federation (NRF) told Reuters that 129.5 million consumers went shopping in person, a 3 percent increase from last year. The NRF found that buyers’ prices will drop by an average of $337.86 this year, up from $315.56 in 2024.
