We’ve tested all of the Birch mattress offerings, and the Birch Lux Natural ranks as our group’s favorite — and also the best organic mattress we’ve found. Organic cotton, Global Organic Latex Standard-certified latex, New Zealand wool, and pocketed steel coils maintain airflow and an overall bouncy feel. The biggest difference between the Lux Natural and Natural models is that the Lux includes more latex and wool layers for comfort and pressure relief. The Natural has similar material components, but feels slightly stronger due to only two layers of wool, a latex layer, and a pocketed coil core.
