The first expansion for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, Phantasmal Flames, has finally dropped. Thank god we’re finding good deals right now, because it’s been a tough year to find a fair price on sealed Pokemon TCG product. Is Amazon Starting To Be Nice With Its Pokemon TCG Pricing?

The Phantasmal Flames Booster Box is currently below market value on Amazon at $281.01, while TCGPlayer’s current market value is $300. Although this is still higher than the MSRP, getting a product below market price is a deal in itself.

Phantasmal Flames focuses on Mega Charizard X with a standard EX, Secret Art Rare, and Gold Hyper Rare. Other Mega Pokémon have made the SIR cut such as Mega Lopunny X and normal Pokémon such as Rotom X. The set is also strangely missing Mega Gengar former SIR, who will likely appear in the next set to be released next year.
