Best Home Depot Black Friday Deals for 2025

only you can do it Really judge a legally involved person by his or her actions. And if action is to be believed, Home Depot really loves Black Friday. The home improvement retail giant has been holding its Black Friday sales since the beginning of November — all month long on Fridays.

But Home Depot is still holding on to some of the biggest deals on the actual day, i.e. today. This includes some in-store-only doorbusters for those who believe being visible is half the battle. But those of us who fight our battles with keyboards can still take some action and feel lazy to do so without taking off our slippers.

Tool deals at Milwaukee, DeWalt and more

Since last month, Home Depot has offered free batteries or buy-one-get pricing on several Milwaukee tools — a favorite tool ecosystem of WIRED reviewer Scott Gilbertson, who saw the purchase as a sustainable and smart investment in making use of Milwaukee’s excellent battery technology. He now guarantees a wide line of Milwaukee tools, including impact guns, circular saws and drywall screw guns.

The most essential tool in the kit, Milwaukee’s M18 Fuel Brushless Cordless Hex Impact Driver ($179), is on a buy-one-get-one sale as part of a buy-one-get-one deal with other select Milwaukee tools, which also includes Milwaukee’s Brushless Cordless Jigs ($229) and Cordless Compact Router ($199). Other tools include free batteries with select tools, or vice versa.

The latest Milwaukee Tool deals include a host of straight-up discounts, including this insanely cheap $49 on a 12-volt M12 battery that normally costs over $100.

Aside from Milwaukee, some of Home Depot’s biggest new Black Friday deals are on DeWalt tools, including a $99 offer on a cordless 20-volt drill driver kit, which usually lists for $179, and a two-tool drill driver kit available for $149.

Or, much of the rest of the DeWalt toolkit is on sale this month at discounts ranging from 20 percent to 50 percent off. It’s not the biggest discount on the list, but might I suggest WIRED’s favorite drill-and-driver kit?

Plus, some more special deals have popped up on Ryobi tools, including a $99 bagless stick vacuum that normally sells for $149.

Discounts on Google Nest and other smart home devices

Home Depot has significant discounts right now on some of WIRED’s top-tested smart home devices from Google Nest, as well as several smart home devices from Ring, Blink, and others.

Nest Learning Thermostat (4th generation)

The latest Nest Learning Thermostat is a blockbuster device in its category, and Home Depot’s price is the lowest I’ve seen at any retailer right now. The Nest is beautiful to look at and doesn’t suffer from disconnections or irregularities in temperature readouts, which is surprisingly common among smart home thermostats. It also offers a number of fun features, including a readout that changes depending on your proximity to the device. Even better, the Nest Thermostat comes with an external temperature sensor that lets you prioritize readings in a specific room (or part of a room). This allowed WIRED reviewer Nena Farrell to tune the device to her child’s bedroom to keep it from getting too crowded. He added that the larger screen size is also a notable upgrade over previous generations.

Nest Cam Outdoor 2K (wired, 2nd generation)

The Nest Cam Outdoor 2K requires little installation: You’ll need to screw in the mount and run a cable. But the cam offers 2K video quality and two-way audio, and doesn’t waste your time with a series of vague information like many outdoor cameras: it can accurately detect people, animals, and vehicles. The camera delivers sharp video with a 152-degree field of view. This is the WIRED outdoor cam that WIRED reviewer Simon Hill recommends above all others — but keep in mind that while notifications and live feeds don’t require a subscription, you’ll need a $10- or $20-per-month subscription to access more advanced features that include detection of familiar faces and 30 to 60 days of video history. Anyway, it’s on a good deal for Black Friday at Home Depot along with a whole array of other smart home devices.

Home Depot Online Tools Doorbusters

As Fridays go on for a month, Home Depot’s appliance doorbusters can be ordered online. This includes rebates of $1,000 or more on select large appliances. (Isn’t that what “doorbusters” are all about, after all?)

If you’re tired of your kitchen, there are really big price drops, including over $300 off on 5-burner, free-standing GE ranges, nearly half off Whirlpool fridges, and additional discounts for larger purchases. Collect two special deal devices, and you’ll get an additional $200 off. Buy four, and you’ll get $1,000 off. More details on that deal can be found here.
