Bam Knight injury: What status means for Week 13 vs. Buccaneers

The 4-7 Arizona Cardinals head to Florida to take on the 6-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday as 2.5-point underdogs. The Cardinals have two questionable offensive players in RB Bam Knight and WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Reports are leaning towards Harrison Jr. being active for this fight, while it looks like Knight is actually questionable this week.

Bam Knight injury update

Knight suffered a knee injury in last week’s game, but he was able to practice limited all three days this week before getting the questionable tag. Knight also suffered an ankle injury last week, so this probably isn’t his only knee injury at this point in the season. Since he didn’t get a full practice on Friday, he has some concerns, but we should learn more by Sunday morning.

There was some hope that running back Trey Benson would return from IR this week, but that has been put on hold for at least another week. Running back Imari DeMarcado is also out, leaving us with Knight and Michael Carter who have played the most playing time this season. Knight is ahead of Carter at this point and if he is active, will remain the projected starter and be worth flex play. If he can’t go, Carter will get that status this week and be worth a flex play.
