Walmart officially launched its early Black Friday deals on Friday, with the first wave of discounts running from November 14th to November 16th. One of the best deals we’ve seen is on Last Generation AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C Charging CaseWhich are currently $139 ($110 off). That’s even less than the discount we saw on Prime Day — and only $10 more than the entry-level AirPods 4 without active noise cancellation.
Although Apple released the excellent AirPods Pro 3, the second-generation AirPods Pro 2 remain a solid option, especially at the discounted price. The wireless earbuds combine great audio with excellent ANC as well as a transparency mode that sounds natural and lifelike. In addition to allowing outside sounds in, Transparency Mode can also help reduce loud sounds, protecting your hearing from the sudden sound of emergency sirens.
The AirPods Pro 2 can also double as FDA-approved hearing aids, while offering up to six hours of battery life with ANC enabled. As for battery life, the charging case is equipped with MagSafe, making it easy to place it on a MagSafe or Qi2 wireless charger. The earbuds also have an IP54 rating, so they should be able to withstand a little dust and water. For comparison, the latest AirPods Pro 3 have an upgraded IP57 rating, meaning they can withstand submersion in water up to one meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
The second generation AirPods Pro also offer deeper integration with other Apple products, allowing automatic device switching. For example, if you’re listening to music on your iPhone and log in to your Mac to watch a video, the AirPods Pro will automatically switch from iPhone to Mac. The earbuds also include four sets of ear tips in the box – including an extra small option – making it easy to find the most comfortable fit.
