AMD CEO Lisa Su Isn’t Afraid of the Competition

Michael Calore: Recording work.

Lauren Good: recording. Yes.

Michael Calore: Yes. It’s like when people say, let me film that. You’re not actually filming anything. You are shooting a digital video.

Lauren Good: So then if you have a video podcast, are you shooting the podcast? What do you say? So what do you call taping?

Michael Calore: I think you say recording because it’s just-

Lauren Good: Pod recording.

Michael Calore: Yes.

Lauren Good: We’re recording the pod.

Michael Calore: All bases are covered in this.

Lauren Good: We are occupying it.

Michael Calore: That’s what we’re doing.

Lauren Good: We are sublimating it. Ok. Okay, should we record this pod?

Michael Calore: I would like to, yes.

Lauren Good: Let’s do this.

Michael Calore: To be honest, I’m still recovering from last week’s Big Interview event. My throat still feels a little raw, even though it’s been four or five days.

Lauren Good: You seem delightful to me.

Michael Calore: Thank you.

Lauren Goode: But it was truly an epic event.

Michael Calore: it was.

Lauren Good: Yes.

Michael Calore: You were on stage.

Lauren Good: I was. I woke up first thing in the morning. Katie, our boss, introduced the conference and was followed by myself and Lisa Su, CEO of AMD. And not only was it a really interesting conversation, but my day was over. After that I didn’t have to give any more interview. And I got a chance to just listen and absorb, and have some other really great conversations.

Michael Calore: There were, yes. And we are going to talk about some of them. We’re also going to listen to your conversation with Lisa Su, and then we’ll talk about that, and we’ll take listeners behind the scenes of The Big Interview.
