
In a recent episode of the Kinda Funny podcast, the actor said he turned down an offer to return for a future season. The reason for that? This was “very distressing” for him, and he “didn’t feel comfortable” putting himself back into the animated skin of the old Scott Duvall. Despite being a fan of the show and its team, he simply “didn’t want to do it anymore. I didn’t like what it did to me.”
Powerplex debuted in the season three episode “All I Can Say Is Sorry”, where during his fight with Invincible, he accidentally kills his wife and son. It’s a disappointing episode that leaves Mark in a bad emotional state, and Powerplex is immediately followed by “What Have I Done?” Appeared in , where he helped the heroes kill a group of Alt-Universe Invincible variants and continued his vendetta against the Prime Mark as he went to save the day. Powerplex appears in all the comics going forward, so we’ll be seeing more of him, and even with a new voice, he’ll be as dangerous as ever to Mark or anyone else who gets in his way.
