Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) – Cool rain will continue overnight. Lows will generally be in the upper 30s, but will approach freezing north of Crossville on the North Platte, where precipitation could end as a wintry mix or snow near sunrise Tuesday. It’s possible to blow up the dust quickly toward Monticello and Jamestown, but there’s no guarantee. Winds will blow throughout the night which will make the cold feel even more.

Tuesday: Precipitation ends early in the morning, but a few scattered showers or thunderstorms are possible during the day. Highs will be around 30 to 40, but will feel cooler with a northwesterly wind at 10-20 mph. The minimum temperature will drop to 20 degrees on Tuesday night.
Wednesday: It will be mostly sunny, with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s and lows in the 30s.
Thursday: It will be mostly cloudy and the maximum temperature will be around 40.
Friday: Another round of rain or a brief wintry mix returns with highs in the 40s.
weekend: Saturday will be mostly cloudy with sporadic rain and the maximum temperature will be around 40 to 50. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and the maximum temperature will be around 50.
