The speaker sounds surprisingly good, and there’s a 3.5-mm audio port for kids’ headphones. Timeo is a great way to introduce your kids to other languages or for multilingual families (you can press and hold the language button to switch between English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Chinese, Italian, and Portuguese). There is also a quiz mode, in which clues are given such as finding a police car, identifying numbers or selecting a specific shape. The Timeo requires three AA batteries, and when you open the back panel, you’ll also find the SD card that holds the content. We recommend rechargeable batteries, as you’ll be replacing them frequently if the Timeo proves popular with your kids. Although they are large and you get a bag to keep them in, there is a risk that the discs will go missing.
For children aged 2+ years.
